Beneficial to my development as a leader

“I started working with Zoë at the end of 2018 after a major restructure and consolidation. I was appointed General Manager and had limited leadership experience. Zoë worked with me and the ‘drivers’ – the people I identified as being crucial to business success – as we established a vision and objectives and started engaging and motivating the team. As well as individual coaching, she brought us together for some group sessions where we talked about the principles of leadership and managing people, got to understand different personality styles using DISC and shared our key learnings from some interesting leadership and management books. She also facilitated an away day for all employees, bringing creativity to get everyone interacting and contributing – whatever their level.

 I have continued coaching sessions with Zoë on an ongoing 2 monthly basis as I have found working with Zoë to be extremely beneficial to my development as a leader. From working with Zoë I have gained confidence in my ability to lead an organisation. I have acquired practical skills that have helped me develop relationships with the whole team, implement strategies to handle challenging times and improve my problem solving skills.

 The sessions with Zoë are challenging in a positive way. Zoë e knows the questions to ask in order for me to generate the answer to my questions. I feel Zoë is a part of the EcoVibe team. She is really engaged with the business and understands what we are wanting to achieve and therefore not only covers off topics that I bring to the session, but suggests others which I have found very valuable.
